Story Ninja Writing Classes

Transform your students into story ninjas

and watch writing levels soar!

Imagine a writing class where students don’t begin to write until motivated by fun discussions that spark fearless creativity. The Story Ninja lessons first teach how to develop compelling content for persuasive, non-fiction, narrative and creative writing; then focus on raising writing levels.

And imagine a software platform that allows you and students to analyze their writing and help show where to make it better. With AutoCrit, assessment and improvement comes without any criticism to discourage young writers.

By combining the Story Ninja approach and AutoCrit, keen writers thrive through engagement with a published author, and not-so-keen writers move to higher levels with less fear or anxiety.

And since reading helps make for better writing, each virtual classroom includes access to a Sigmund Brouwer e-book collection — 46 titles in all for different age levels, including some of his best-selling novels for grownups.

With over four million books in print in multiple languages, Sigmund Brouwer is the award-winning and best-selling author of dozens of titles for kids and grown ups. Since 1990, he has reached over a million students with in-person and virtual presentations across the United States and Canada, and has been a literacy consultant for multiple school boards.

Writing lessons for teachers to share with students in the classroom, taught by author Sigmund Brouwer which include a collection of ebook titles to promote reading.

Four-Week Courses

Personal Narratives, Expository, Persuasive, Creative and Memoir Writing

  • as a recorded unit

  • or with live virtual classes

Broadcast the half-hour lessons from the smartboard to your entire class, or give students access on individual devices.

Each four-week course includes 14 lessons, writing activities, and an e-book collection for students and teachers.

For the convenience of scheduling lessons at your own place, the recorded units make all lessons immediately available for classroom use.

If you prefer the engagement of live classes, each week of the four-week course includes one live class on Fridays and two asynchronous lessons, plus two introductory recorded lessons. If you miss a live class, it is available later in the week as a recording.

Lessons are formatted with professional broadcast software for high engagement.

Live classes are in webinar format, allowing for lively discussion through the chat box and Q&A.

It’s one of the best, if not the best thing, I’ve done for my language arts programming in 17, 18 years of teaching. It can make all the difference.
